Pascal has twenty years experience in the IT industry with the last seven focused on Service Oriented Architecture. Pascal is a key figure in the development and adoption of methodologies, business processes management and information service modeling at Kaiser. As an SOA architect at IBM he was involved in major SOA project at fortune 500 organizations contributing to the realization of their SOA and BPM capabilities. He joined Kaiser four years ago and developed the Service Portfolio Delivery Process (SPDP) methodology for identifying, defining and developing services. SPDP has now been socialized to over 150 Solution Consultants and Architects at KP through SOA University classes

He developed canonical Information model based on HealthCare HL7 RIM as well as a SOA service model template that includes model driven development (MDD) transformation that automates artifacts creation such as WSDL, XSDs, Code and SCA components. Recognize by IBM for his expertise on RSA and SoaML he will be sharing his experience at the 2012 Innovate conference.

Currently Pascal is heavily involved in the introduction of Business Process Management (BPM) into Kaiser. BPM is a discipline that complements SOA and will enable KP-IT to capture, visualize and improve our business process best practices. Subsequently, these Kaiser process best practices can be developed and deployed as workflow orchestrations embedded into real Kaiser applications.

·         Architected a future state architecture for the Ameritas Group IT based on SOA principles leveraging customer current infrastructure by exposing mainframe CICS/COBOL business logic as web services providers using CICS SOAP Gateway, Websphere Message Broker and Websphere portal.
